This project develops autonomous underwater observatories to study phytoplankton dynamics in marine ecosystems. By utilizing advanced optical sensors, it aims to enhance understanding of oceanic biodiversity and carbon cycling.
There is a growing concern with the marine environment and societies fear the depletion of fish stocks, pollution and possible impacts of climate change such as the loss of biodiversity.
