AQUAGUARD aims to quantify human impacts on freshwater systems and their essential Earth functions. It utilizes innovative indicators and computational methods to understand water cycle modifications and seeks to inform water management practices globally.
Freshwater has a fundamental role in regulating the state of the Earth system.
