This project explores field theory using gauge/gravity duality, focusing on anomalies in hydrodynamics. It aims to develop new methods based on kinetic theory for applications in quantum chromodynamics and condensed matter systems, while also addressing turbulence in hydrodynamics through fluid/gravity duality.
This projects aims to gain new insight into field theory questions using gauge/gravity duality and if possible extend current field theory description using that insight.
The first part of the project is devoted to recently descovered effects of anomalies in the framework of hydrodynamics.
New metods based on kinetic theory will be developed to further understand this phenomenon and eventually applied to QCD and condensed matter systems.
