This project focuses on developing new synthetic receptors for negatively charged molecules in water, which are crucial for biological processes. By employing a dynamic chemistry approach, it aims to create receptors that can effectively bind anions of biological significance.
From chloride to DNA, over 75% of the cofactors and bio-molecules have negative charge at physiological pH.
