This project investigates how the growth of blood vessels can be effectively controlled in cancer and cardiovascular diseases. By exploring the effects of growth factors on endothelial cells, it aims to develop new strategies for promoting or inhibiting angiogenesis using advanced genetic and imaging techniques.
Therapeutic modulation of vascular cell proliferation and migration is essential for the effective inhibition of angiogenesis in cancer or its induction in cardiovascular disease.
