The AngioTox project aims to investigate the toxic effects of angiogenesis inhibitors used in cancer treatment. It focuses on understanding the mechanisms behind these toxicities through advanced imaging and molecular profiling, ultimately improving patient care and drug safety.
Inhibition of angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing vasculature, is a well established therapeutic strategy against cancer.
