This project investigates the causes and predictors of chronic pain in adolescents, focusing on how psychosocial and physical stressors affect brain physiology. Using advanced neuroimaging and machine learning, it aims to identify risk factors and develop models for predicting chronic pain onset following surgery.
Chronic pain is endemic and difficult to treat.
