The project aims to develop an automated system for measuring and inspecting the geometry and surface defects of bladed disks (BLISKs). By integrating advanced image processing and measurement technologies, it seeks to enhance the quality and safety of manufacturing processes.
The main impact of the following proposal of the three participants Hexagon Metrology GmbH, Hexagon Technology Center GmbH, and Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM is an integrated approach to the measurement the geometry and automatical identification and characterization of surface defects of a BLISK (bladed disk).
