This project focuses on developing advanced tools for analyzing gas exchanges at the surface-atmosphere interface using innovative mass spectrometry techniques. It aims to enhance environmental monitoring, particularly in regions affected by air pollution and complex terrain.
Observational capabilities are a critical component for advancing surface-atmosphere interactions science.
This includes state-of-the-art capabilities for analyzing trace gas fluxes in support of the wider Earth science research community as well as the development of cutting edge technology that will lead the community toward a new generation of analytical capabilities needed to improve Earth system models.
