The project aims to develop a new design principle for large-scale systems that integrate humans and technology. By using adaptive programming techniques, it focuses on creating robust and secure systems that can evolve and improve over time.
The recent advances in pervasive technologies enable construction of large-scale socio-technical systems which tightly interweave humans and their social structures with the technology.
