This project aims to replace silicon in solar panels with perovskite-based materials to reduce manufacturing costs, improve flexibility, and enhance efficiency. The goal is to create a more affordable and effective solar energy solution for businesses and households, promoting wider adoption of renewable energy.
Silicon based solar panels dominate the photovoltaic (PV) market but it seems they have reached their limits due to three major limiting factors: (1) high manufacturing costs, (2) inflexible shape and (3) not improving efficiency.
