The AGORA project expands on previous successful public engagement activities by bringing researchers into community spaces. It aims to connect the public with science through diverse events designed for all age groups, enhancing the visibility of researchers in society.
AGORA’ project is a continuation, a deepening and an enlargement of the very successful COME IN project which took part to the Researchers’ Night 2006 FP6 programme.
Based on the success of the 2006 edition (more than 4.000 participants, twice more than anticipated, - http://www.infn.it/nottedellaricerca/ for details) the 2007 edition intends to re-propose all the successful activities held in 2006 (as visits to the Institutes; activities for children;
Saperi/Sapori festival; researchers’ hobby…
