This project investigates the role of specific protein kinases in the process of meiosis, focusing on chromosome segregation. It aims to identify and characterize these kinases to enhance understanding of genetic disorders related to chromosome missegregation.
Meiosis is a specialized cell cycle that enables diploid organisms to reproduce sexually by generating haploid gametes through two succesive divisions.
