This research investigates the history of advocacy for mental health issues in Greece, particularly focusing on mental disorders and autism post-World War II. It employs a comparative approach with French cases to enhance understanding of mental health movements and advocacy.
The research examines the history of advocacy and self-advocacy for mental disorders, mental retardation and autism after WWII, when mental health advocacy gained momentum in the Western world.
