This project investigates the relationship between sleep quality and Alzheimer’s disease by using advanced neuroimaging techniques. It aims to understand how disruptions in sleep-wake regulation may influence the early stages of Alzheimer’s pathology, particularly focusing on brain regions affected by the disease.
The increased prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) in our ageing society constitutes an urgent, far-reaching public health concern.
