ADAPT investigates how organic flame retardants in indoor dust affect human health through skin exposure. By using advanced laboratory techniques, it aims to understand the absorption of these chemicals and improve risk assessment for public health.
ADAPT is a supradisciplinary study that combines advanced environmental analytical chemistry with state of the art human tissue culture techniques to study the toxicokinetics of human dermal exposure to organic flame retardants (FRs) in indoor dust and domestic products.
