The ACTION project investigates the causes of aggressive behavior using genetic, biological, and clinical data. By analyzing longitudinal cohorts, it aims to develop new diagnostic tools and treatment strategies tailored to individual genetic and environmental factors.
Aggression inflicts a huge personal, psychological and financial burden on affected individuals, their relatives, and society at large.
Despite large scientific, preventive, and treatment investments, no decrease in aggressive behavior is seen.
