The ACCIBERG project enhances sea ice and iceberg forecasting in Arctic waters by improving data quality and uncertainty estimates. It utilizes advanced modeling, remote sensing, and cloud computing to provide automated, probabilistic forecasts, benefiting navigation and fisheries in a changing climate.
Sea ice and icebergs are a major security risk for navigation and fisheries in Arctic waters.
