This project investigates how working memory is influenced by brain states before information encoding and retrieval. Using magneto-encephalography, it aims to uncover the neural mechanisms that govern selective access to working memory in healthy individuals.
The ability to temporarily maintain and manipulate information in working memory (WM) is critical for adaptive behaviour.
Because WM has limited capacity, it is essential to understand the mechanisms that govern selective access to it.
