This research focuses on the selection and specification of new stem cell populations in plants, particularly in the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana. It aims to uncover the regulatory mechanisms behind stem cell development using genomic and genetic approaches.
Stem cells are indispensable for development and growth in all multicellular organisms.
