Summary

5G-RECORDS focuses on integrating and validating 5G technology for professional audio-visual content production. The project aims to develop end-to-end 5G infrastructures to enhance live media production, including audio and multi-camera setups, using non-public networks to reach new markets.

Objective

5G-RECORDS aims to explore the opportunities which new 5G technology components bring to the professional audio-visual content production. 5G-RECORDS targets the development, integration, validation and demonstration of 5G components for professional media content production, as part of an overall ecosystem representing a subset of 5G network functions.

The project will take a business-to-business (B2B) perspective, where 5G becomes part of the audio-visual (AV) infrastructure backbone.
