5G-MoNArch focuses on developing a flexible architecture for 5G networks, enhancing service delivery through virtualization and orchestration. It aims to implement prototypes in real-world scenarios, such as ports and tourist cities, to demonstrate its capabilities.
Motivation:
The expected diversity of services and use cases in 5G requires a flexible, adaptable, and programmable architecture.
While the design of such an architecture has been addressed by 5G-PPP Phase 1 at a conceptual level, it must be brought into practice in Phase 2.
