The 5G CHAMPION project develops a proof-of-concept for a 5G system, combining terrestrial and satellite technologies to enhance communication capabilities. It aims to improve network performance for high-speed mobile broadband and the Internet of Things.
The 5G CHAMPION project ambitions to deliver the first 5G system proof-of-concept in conjunction with the 2018 South Korean Winter Olympics.
