The 4D-PET project aims to create a revolutionary whole-body Positron Emission Tomography scanner that captures the 3D position and timing of gamma interactions. This innovation will enhance image quality and sensitivity, providing new diagnostic capabilities.
The main objective of 4D-PET is to develop an innovative whole-body PET scanner based in a new detector concept that stores 3D position and time of every single gamma interaction with unprecedented resolution.
