This project focuses on developing energy-efficient magnetic devices using two-dimensional materials to enhance nonvolatile memory and optical communication. By integrating unique properties of 2D semimetals and semiconductors, it aims to enable efficient data storage and transport at the nanoscale.
In order for modern information technology to continue progressing at a rapid pace we require smaller devices consuming less energy.Magnetic materials provide a promising route for nonvolatile memory devices.
