This project aims to understand hemodynamic responses in the neonatal brain using advanced imaging techniques. By studying vascular and metabolic activity, it seeks to clarify discrepancies in brain imaging data and improve insights into neonatal brain development.
Blood oxygen level-dependent (BOLD) functional brain imaging is a valuable non-invasive tool widely used in studies of brain development in health and disease, which relies on blood flow and oxygenation state to provide insights into brain function.
