Mit dieser Verordnung wird der Europäische Sozialfonds Plus ( ESF +) eingerichtet, der zwei Komponenten umfasst: die Komponente mit geteilter Mittelverwaltung (im Folgenden ? ESF +-Komponente mit geteilter Mittelverwaltung?) und die Komponente Beschäftigung und soziale Innovation (im Folgenden ?EaSI-Komponente?).
In dieser Verordnung werden die Ziele des ESF +, seine Mittelausstattung für den Zeitraum 2021 bis 2027, die Arten des Haushaltsvollzugs sowie die Formen der Unionsfinanzierung und die Finanzierungsbestimmungen festgelegt.
