Sawari Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Cairo, investing in knowledge and innovation-based technologies across North Africa. Two inaugural funds (North Africa Fund I and Egypt Fund I) have brought together international and domestic capital from DFIs and regional stakeholders. To date, Sawari Ventures has invested in 19 early and growth-stage companies in Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco, in sectors including fintech, edtech, healthtech, deeptech, logistics and e-commerce. In addition, it provides a small allocation for seed stage funding, and further contributes to building and strengthening the region's early-stage ecosystem.
